Ryan Pigg represented a railroad worker who sustained significant neck injuries as a result of a defect in the track in the train yard.  As his engine travelled along the track, the track suddenly gave way and sank into the ground. This made the train catch onto the bolts and equipment securing the track. Defendants settled after Ryan proved Defendants failed to ensure the yard and tracks were properly maintained.
